Last updated: April 11, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited conduct on the TravelZing Service. It supplements our Terms of Service. If a conflict arises, the Terms of Service control.
2. Permitted use
The TravelZing Service is provided for individuals to plan and run their own trips, and for trip companions (family, partners, group organizers) to coordinate trips for themselves and their travel group. All use must comply with applicable laws and these policies.
3. Prohibited uses
You may not use the Service, or allow any third party to use the Service, to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contract rights.
- Upload or generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, harassing, threatening, or that exploits or endangers minors.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Submit another individual's confidential information, protected health information, government identification numbers, or financial account information without that individual's consent and a lawful basis.
- Use the Service to plan or facilitate travel that would violate international sanctions or export control laws.
- Generate content intended to discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
- Generate content that provides specific legal, medical, financial, tax, or immigration advice for others as a professional service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network associated with the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate limit, usage limit, access restriction, or content filter of the Service.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service, except as expressly permitted by us in writing or by our robots.txt file.
- Transmit malware, viruses, worms, or any other malicious code, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users.
- Use the Service to build a competing AI travel planning product, including by using the Service's output as training data for a competing model.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the Service or its output as a stand-alone offering without our written permission.
- Use the Service in any critical or high-risk context where an error, delay, or inaccuracy could result in death, personal injury, environmental damage, or other serious harm — including, for example, as the sole source of safety, emergency, or medical information during travel.
4. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to travel@travelzingli.com with the subject line "AUP report" and a brief description. We investigate all reports.
5. Enforcement
We may, at our reasonable discretion, suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove offending content, and notify law enforcement if we believe the Service has been used in violation of this AUP or applicable law. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent account termination without refund.
6. Changes to this AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
